Russian Forces Liberate Malinovka Settlement in DPR, Ukraine Loses Over 455 Soldiers: MoD
The Russian armed forces have taken control of the settlement of Malinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the Russian Defence Ministry said on Tuesday.
"As a result of active hostilities, units of the Yug [South] group of forces liberated the village of Malinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic," the ministry said in a statement.
Russian troops have also taken control of the settlements of Lesnoye and Rovnoye in the Zaporozhye region, the the statement read.
Meanwhile, Ukraine lost over 455 soldiers in combat against Russia's Vostok (East) battlegroup over the past day, in addition to losses in manpower and equipment on other fronts, the Russian MoD said.
"The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to over 455 military personnel, three armored fighting vehicles and 10 vehicles," the ministry said.
