UN Chief Candidate Sall May Visit Russia to Meet With Foreign Minister Lavrov
Former Senegalese President and UN secretary-general candidate Macky Sall may visit Russia to meet with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov told RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
"Such a visit cannot be ruled out, and schedules are being coordinated. We receive all candidates at the foreign minister level. We hope Sergey Viktorovich [Lavrov] will find time in his agenda to meet with the African candidate as well," Alimov said.
