The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the principles of a settlement in Ukraine, announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin in June 2024, remain relevant for Moscow nowadays, the diplomat said."We will welcome any initiatives aimed at a political and diplomatic solution to the conflict in Ukraine, but with due regard for Russia's legitimate interests, including in the field of security," Fadeev added.

No Ukrainian Proposal to Restart Diplomatic Contacts Received: Russian MFA
18:14 06.08.2026 (Updated: 18:15 06.08.2026) Russia has not received any proposals from Ukraine to resume diplomatic contacts, director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Information and Press Department Alexey Fadeev said on Thursday.
"No, we have not received such proposals from Ukrainians," Fadeev told a briefing.
The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the principles of a settlement in Ukraine, announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin in June 2024, remain relevant for Moscow nowadays, the diplomat said.
"We will welcome any initiatives aimed at a
