Russia, Vietnam Move to Strengthen High-Level Diplomatic Engagements: Foreign Ministry
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko held consultations with his Vietnamese counterpart Le Thi Thu Hang to discuss preparations for upcoming top-level contacts between the two countries, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday.
"During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of bilateral issues and exchanged views on current international and regional agenda topics, including in the context of preparations for upcoming contacts between the two countries' top leadership," the ministry said in a statement published on its official website.
The consultations were held in a trustful and friendly atmosphere, traditional for Russia-Vietnam relations, the statement said.
