Center-2026 Exercise Not Tied to Challenges Near Russia’s Borders: Kremlin
The Center-2026 strategic command and staff exercise currently underway in Russia is planned and not related to challenges at Russia's borders, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
The Center-2026 drills are taking place in Russia from September 28 to October 3, Peskov said.
"No, these are planned exercises," Peskov said when asked whether the current exercises are related to challenges emerging at the country's borders.
Peskov calls these drills important for Russia's military development plans.
