The US Air Force plane that took off from Oslo, presumably carrying US special envoy Steve Witkoff, has landed in St. Petersburg, a Sputnik correspondent reported on Wednesday.
The aircraft took off from Oslo at about 04:10 GMT and landed at Pulkovo Airport at about 08:50 Moscow time (05:50 GMT).
Witkoff will present to the Russian side the results of the meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky in Oslo, which did not bring anything unexpected, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Wednesday.
"My understanding from the information he [Witkoff] provided to me and the readout I got from it is that it was positive, nothing unexpected, nothing surprising, and and he will now, armed with those ideas, be able to go to St. Petersburg and share them with the Russian side, and let's see if we can make some progress," Rubio told reporters.
The car of Russian special presidential envoy for economic cooperation with foreign countries Kirill Dmitriev drove into the territory of Pulkovo Airport.
