Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday expressed his condolences to the Pakistani leadership in connection with the tragic consequences of the terrorist attack in the Balochistan province.
Earlier in the day, an explosion occurred near a mosque in a town of Mastung in Pakistan's Balochistan province. According to the latest reports, 52 people were killed and over 50 others were injured.
"Dear Mr. President, Dear Mr. Prime Minister, please accept my sincere condolences in connection with the tragic consequences of the terrorist act committed in the Balochistan province. The killing of people during a religious ceremony has become another evidence of the barbaric, inhuman nature of terrorism," Putin said in a message, posted on the Kremlin's website.
The president also asked to convey words of sympathy to the relatives and friends of the victims, as well as wishes of recovery to all the wounded.
