The Delhi police on Saturday morning said that a case has been filed against an unknown person in a case related to the explosion near the Israeli Embassy.
The National Security Guard (NSG), National Investigation Agency (NIA), and the Delhi Police Special Cell are currently leading the investigation and are anticipated to deliver the report within a few days.
According to numerous media reports, two individuals were captured on CCTV footage in the vicinity of the explosion, and the authorities are actively working towards identifying their whereabouts. However, so far, no arrests have been reported.
After the blast, the Delhi police also found an "abusive" letter addressed to the Israeli ambassador near the site.
Meanwhile, on Friday, the Indian Foreign Ministry said that relevant agencies were looking into the incident.
"The agencies concerned are looking into the matter. Let them finish their investigations", Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said.
When asked about Israel suggesting a possibility of Iran's involvement in the blast, he said, "I certainly am not aware of anything that you mentioned blaming particular entities or countries."
"I am not going to comment on what other countries might be saying", he added.
