Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar expressed his "deepest condolences" after a tragic terrorist assault claimed the lives of over 130 in Moscow.
“Spoke to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Conveyed our deepest condolences on the loss of lives in the horrific terrorist attack in Moscow," Delhi's Foreign Ministry tweeted.
In addition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to denounce the terrorist attack in Moscow and express India's support for Russia.
"We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Moscow. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. India stands in solidarity with the government and the people of the Russian Federation in this hour of grief," he noted.
Russia announced on Saturday that all four suspected gunmen involved in the shooting at a concert hall near Moscow had been apprehended, with President Vladimir Putin vowing to pursue and punish those responsible for the rampage.
