A 5.8 Richter scale earthquake hit Nepal on Tuesday afternoon, with tremors felt in neighboring India's capital city of Delhi and surrounding areas, including the satellite towns of Ghaziabad and Gurugram.The tremors last for almost 10-15 seconds and were felt at around 2.28 pm (IST) in Delhi and adjoining cities.India's National Center for Seismology (NCS) confirmed that the magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 5.8 in a tweet.Some netizens said the tremors of the earthquake were felt as far as Dehradun city in Uttarakhand, nearly 250 km from Delhi.Several social media users also posted photos and videos of people rushing out of their homes and leaving their offices in panic.There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to property.Generally, a quake of 5.0 to 5.9 is considered moderate.
