On Tuesday, another 5.9-magnitude aftershock struck Turkiye, Syria and other neighboring countries after Monday's devastating tremors of 7.8, 7.6, and 6.0 on the Richter scale.
A video which has gone viral shows that birds in Turkiye sensed the impending disaster and started behaving strangely moments before the major 7.8-magnitude earthquake and aftershocks struck Turkey and Syria, with tremors felt across the region.
The 45-second video clip, which was captured in the small hours of Monday morning, was posted on Twitter from OsintTV handle, showing hundreds of birds making a noise and flying chaotically in the sky, while many others gathered in a large group and perched in a tree.
The post sparked a discussion among netizens as many were amazed to see the birds' reaction before the earthquake.
Several commented on how birds and animals can sense impending danger, and others questioned the authenticity of the video.
