Meet India's First & Only Woman Rafale Fighter Pilot to Guard Border With China
This is not the first time, a woman officer has been chosen to lead a military formation in India this year.

In May, Flight Lieutenant Shivangi Singh became the first female to take a sortie in the country's latest Rafale fighter jet.

During the same month, Captain Abhilasha Barak made history, becoming the first woman aviator to be commissioned into the Army Aviation Corps.

On the other hand, in January, Captain Shiva Chauhan accomplished another first in the Indian Army's lexicon by being the first woman officer to be posted at the Siachen Glacier, regarded as the world's highest battlefield.
