Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Tuesday said that any kind of threats cannot marginalize Iran's missile industry. Raisi lauded the indigenous nature of Iran's missile program and its growing prowess in the defense arena because no foreign power could impinge it as the technologies involved in developing the Islamic Republic's weapons weren't acquired from abroad.Describing it as the "correct path", the president asserted that the continued strides that Iran has made in developing its missiles would make the nation self-reliant in the domain of missiles besides bolstering the country's defense sector.His remarks came hours after Iran unveiled its new hypersonic cruise missile labeled "Fattah" by the country's dominant military force, Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), state media IRNA said.With a range of 1,400 kilometers, the Fattah is touted to be the first missile in a new generation of missiles designed and developed in Iran.What's more, Iran's latest missile can target the adversary at a speed of Mach 13 to 15.Iran claimed that apart from Tehran, only select nations, including arch-enemy the US, ally Russia, Asian powerhouse China, and communist North Korea have the technology to produce such missiles.

Iran unveiled its latest hypersonic cruise missile, called Fattah missile, during a ceremony held in Tehran this week.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Tuesday said that any kind of threats cannot marginalize Iran's missile industry.
Raisi lauded the indigenous nature of Iran's missile program and its growing prowess in the defense arena because no foreign power could impinge it as the technologies involved in developing the Islamic Republic's weapons weren't acquired from abroad.
Describing it as the "correct path", the president asserted that the continued strides that Iran has made in developing its missiles would make the nation
self-reliant in the domain of missiles besides bolstering the country's defense sector.
“Today, we feel that this deterrent power has developed,” the president said during the unveiling of the missile.
His remarks came hours after Iran unveiled its new hypersonic cruise missile labeled "Fattah" by the country's dominant military force, Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), state media IRNA said.
With a range of 1,400 kilometers, the Fattah is touted to be the first missile in a new generation of missiles designed and developed in Iran.
State media further elaborated that Fattah is capable of flying at a "
very high speed" and can conduct many types of maneuvers in the air.
What's more, Iran's latest missile can target the adversary at a speed of Mach 13 to 15.
