A Pakistani drone has been shot down by the Border Security Force (BSF) near the International Border in Amritsar district of Punjab, an official said.The drone was recovered on Monday morning after the BSF conducted a search operation on the outskirts of Saidpur Kalan Village in the district, the official added. The BSF found the drone completely broken near the village's Sikh temple.The BSF official said that the drone was a DJI Matrice 300 RTK series quadcopter.Earlier on Sunday, another drone was recovered by the BSF at around 6 p.m. (IST) in a joint operation conducted by the troops and Punjab Police on the outskirt of Rajoke Village in Tarn-Taran district of the state.According to an official statement, the drone was broken and a string carrying the payload was attached to it. It was also a model DJI Matrice 300 RTK series quadcopter.There have been numerous incidents of drones entering Indian territory from Pakistan. The BSF, which guards more than 500 km of the border shared by India's Punjab state and Pakistan, has shot down six drones between May 19 and 31.
