SPIEF 2023 Highlights: Hundreds of Deals Inked in Rush to Cash in on Russia's Success

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) took place from June 14-17, drawing more than 17,000 participants from 130 countries.
More than 900 agreements were signed at this year's SPIEF for a total of 3.8 trillion rubles ($46.1 bln), the Russian president's adviser, Anton Kobyakov, said
Among them are 43 agreements with representatives of foreign companies.

“SPIEF 2023 indicators have reached pre-Covid level,” Kobyakov said, noting that over 17,000 participants from 130 countries took part in one of the most prominent business events worlwide, both online and in person format .

The largest delegations were from the UAE - 200 people, China – 147 people, India – 58 people, Myanmar – 50 people, Kazakhstan – 40 people, Cuba – 39 people, and the United States – 27 people.
150 companies from 25 "unfriendly" countries took part in SPIEF.
“Everyone wants to participate in Russia's success,” Kobyakov said at the final press conference.
