Modi to Meet Alliance Members to Boost 2024 Poll Preparations

The state assembly polls are scheduled to be held later this year and the General elections are slated for next year.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to meet his federally ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) alliance members in a bid to bring in more synergy and solidarity among them ahead of the upcoming state assembly polls, media reports said on Friday citing BJP sources.
According to the sources, Modi will be meeting 430 parliamentarians of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (BJP-led NDA) in 11 groups from July 31 to August 10.
Along with Modi, senior members of the party including federal Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, federal Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and party’s national president J.P. Nadda will also participate in the meetings.

The sources also shared with the media that meeting with two groups comprising 83 parliamentarians from the western part of Uttar Pradesh, Bundelkhand, Braj, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha will be held on July 31.
Meanwhile, the second meeting with two groups comprising 96 members of the parliament from some other regions of Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep will be held on August 2.
On August 3, a meeting will be held with two groups of parliamentarians comprising 63 members from Bihar, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.
A few days later, on August 8, Modi will meet 104 lawmakers from Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Goa whereas on August 9, 81 MPs from Gujarat, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will have their turn meeting him.
On August 9, there will be a second meeting with 31 MPs from Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya and Tripura -- the north eastern states.

Verma, Dharmendra Pradhan, Anupriya Patel, Mahendra nath Pandey, Pralhad Joshi, V. Muraleedharan, Nityanand Rai, Anurag Thakur, Ajay Bhatt, Bharati Pawar, Kapil Patil, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Kailash Choudhary, Puruhshottam Rupala, Darshana Jardosh, Narendra Singh Tomar, Renuka Singh, Sarbanand Sonowal and Kiren Rijiju.
