This isn't the first time a military helicopter has crashed in Balochistan in recent times. Last year in September, a similar incident led to the deaths of six army personnel in the province.
Two Pakistan Navy officers and one soldier lost their lives in a chopper crash in the restive Balochistan province of the country on Monday, a spokesman for the Islamic nation's maritime force said.
According to the Pakistan Navy official, the incident took place in the port city of Gwadar when it was undertaking a training flight.
The spokesman added that the crash happened because of a potential technical fault.

"As a result of the accident, two officers and one jawan (soldier) of the Pakistan Navy lost their lives," the spokesman noted.

He elaborated that the Pakistan Navy has begun an investigation into the accident.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's caretaker premier Anwaarul Haq Kakar "expressed grief" over the incident and prayed for the soldiers who died in the horrific crash, a post shared by the state-run PTV News on X (formerly Twitter) showed.
