Last year, on 7 September, Congress parliamentarian Rahul Gandhi launched a 3,570 km foot march 'Bharat Jodo Yatra (Unite India Campaign)' from the southernmost to the northernmost points of India.
On the first anniversary of his 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', the Congress parliamentarian and former party chief Rahul Gandhi stated on Thursday that the yatra (journey) would continue until hatred was eradicated and India was united.
A year ago, on this day, Rahul Gandhi kicked off the Bharat Jodo Yatra or Unite India Campaign from Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari to Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar.
In a post in Hindi on X (formerly Twitter), Gandhi said, "The millions of steps of Bharat Jodo Yatra towards unity and love have become the foundation of a better tomorrow for the country….The
journey continues - until hatred is eradicated, until India unites. This is my promise!”
During the 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', Gandhi covered 12 states and two union territories in his foot march, which lasted for 136 days. Many regional parties, state chiefs, and celebrities welcomed him as he visited their states and joined his journey.
According to records, Gandhi addressed 12 public meetings, more than 100 street corner meetings, and
13 press conferences, with over 275 planned walking interactions and more than 100 sitting interactions.
Now, media reports quoting Congress sources said that Rahul Gandhi might embark another leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in November from the east to west part of the country. However, an official announcement is yet to be made.

These small yatras will culminate in a Bharat Jodo rally in districts.
Meanwhile, Gandhi, who is on a five-day trip to European countries, will be in the Belgian capital, Brussels, today, and reportedly will hold consultations with the Members of
