Prime Minister Narendra Modi will gift a unique memento, the ‘Kamalam’, to the State heads and foreign dignitaries attending the G-20 summit.
Kamalam is a hand-made brass artifact shaped like a lotus, made by the national award-winning artisan Manmohan Saini.

The artefacts are five inches tall with 16 petals - eight big and eight small. 50 brass lotuses have been specially crafted for the global event.

Saini, the only artisan with this remarkable skill, has revealed to the Indian media that ''Kamalam is an extraordinary lotus that unravels its beauty in the most magnificent way, and as the rotation continues, it unveils a fully bloomed flower in all its glory.''

Speaking with Indian media, Saini said it took him six months to prepare all these artifacts.
For Indians, especially Hindus, the lotus is regarded as the first flower born of creation, highly divine The lotus holds immense significance in Indian culture, particularly for Hindus.
