Rostec, a Russian state conglomerate and its largest weapons producer, is helping the country with the special military operation in Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin has on many occasions urged Rostec to ramp up its production.
Bekhan Ozdoev, industrial director of Rostec, on Tuesday, said that it is working round the clock to deliver defence equipment ahead of schedule.

Ozdoev, on the occasion of Gunsmith's Day, said that it has increased production volumes for various types of weapons from two to ten times. First of all, the growth is in tanks and combat vehicles based on them, lightly armoured vehicles, MLRS, and heavy flamethrower systems. This also includes increasing the production of missiles for the Kinzhal, Iskander, and Pantsir complexes, as well as aerial bombs.

Rostec's defence enterprises will multiply the production of the Cube and Lancet loitering munitions, as well as other drones. In turn, the production of Kitolov and Vikhr high-precision missiles and missiles for the Strela 9M333 air defense complex has already doubled, Bekhan Ozdoev said.

“I would like to separately note the significant increase in the production of high-precision weapons. For example, Kalashnikov is doubling the production of Kitolov, Strela, Vikhr missiles, and 9M333 anti-aircraft guided missiles - additional capacities are being commissioned for this purpose. In addition, the capabilities have been expanded production of UAVs, due to which the production of such models as 'Cube', 'Lancet', 'Granat', 'Tachyon', and others will increase significantly”, Ozdoev stressed.

Speaking about its future goal, he said the company is developing a new generation of projectiles, including guided ones, for the Malva self-propelled howitzer, which will provide superiority over artillery from NATO countries.
