“According to experts, today the contribution to the world economy of the five largest Asian economies - these are China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam - have exceeded the total share of the United States and all EU countries. And in the next decade, the gap will only increase, and there is no doubt about it," Putin said.
Russian Nuclear Industry Has No Competitors
Russian President proceeded to outline the current state of the nuclear power industry both within the country and its prowess in its nuclear projects abroad.
“The Russian engineering school for the construction and maintenance of nuclear power facilities is not only strong, but has practically no competitors at the global level. … Rosatom exports are simultaneously building 22 power units abroad. This is approximately 80% of the world market."

Putin stated that Russia is responding to the conflict in Ukraine in the only way it can due to a lack of alternative solutions.
The president remarked that eventually it became evident that no peaceful methods could guarantee the security of the Russian Federation.
"Furthermore, the conflict there has been ongoing since 2014, and they have already disregarded the plan for peaceful resolution based on the Minsk Agreement. To make matters worse, they openly announced that they had no intention of following through, but instead, were manipulating us."
