Israel Hits Hezbollah Military Infrastructure in Lebanon: IDF

Israel has imposed a blockade on the Gaza Strip and launched a large-scale bombardment in response to an unexpected attack by the Palestinian militant group Hamas on 7 October.
The foreign ministry of Qatar has denounced the demand for the "forced relocation of Gaza Strip residents" and emphasized the necessity of lifting the blockade on the enclave.

"The State of Qatar announces its categorical rejection of the attempts to forcibly displace the brotherly Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip, and calls for lifting the blockade on the Strip and providing full protection to civilians under international law and international humanitarian law," the ministry said in a statement, posted on X on Saturday.

On Friday, the Israel Defence Forces urged civilians of Gaza City to evacuate southward "for their own safety." Stephane Dujarric, the UN spokesman, informed that the Israeli military has given notice to both the inhabitants of northern Gaza and the UN personnel to move to southern Gaza within a 24-hour period. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, and other Arab nations have voiced their condemnation of Israel's actions to expel Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

Death Toll Among Israeli Soldiers Reaches 279: Media

The number of Israeli soldiers killed since the beginning of the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has reached 279, Israeli media reported on Saturday, citing the Israeli Defence Forces.
The number of people held hostage in the Gaza Strip has reached 126, the Haaretz newspaper added.

ICRC Negotiating With Israel, Hamas to Deliver Medicine to Hostages - Reports

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi discussed the escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and ways to decrease tensions during a phone conversation on Monday, Erdogan’s administration said in a statement.
According to the statement obtained by Sputnik, Erdogan and Raisi also discussed “the regional tensions” and “what steps need to be taken to reduce tensions."
During the conversation, Erdogan called for ending the conflict as soon as possible and avoiding steps that could lead to a further escalation. Ankara also is making efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, Erdogan said, adding that "mutually beneficial agreements" can lead to lasting peace between Israel and Palestine.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Sunday it opened an evacuation route for northern Gaza residents to the south from 07:00 to 10:00 GMT.
