Pakistan has turned to the Saudi authorities for a favour, just days before they are due to hold talks with the IMF.
The Pakistani government has urged Saudi Arabia to provide a $1 billion oil facility on deferred payment for 2024, days ahead of review talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Pakistani media reported on Wednesday.

economic stabilisation program.
Pakistan's Finance Ministry is preparing itself for the imminent talks with the IMF, which are expected to take place within the first 10 days of November.
The IMF’s review mission schedule is yet to be confirmed.
