Speaking at the Chanakya Defence Dialogue, India's Chief of Army Staff stated that India is keen to expand its defence wings to new locations across the globe.
In light of the ongoing border dispute, Indian Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande stated on Friday that India's perspective places a strong emphasis on respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all nations, peaceful resolution of disputes and adherence to international law.
During his speech at the Chanakya Defence Dialogue, General Pande also mentioned that India is expanding its defence wings around the world in new locations and that the Army is eager to increase the scope and magnitude of cooperative military exercises and training with friendly foreign partner countries.
In the midst of hopelessness and shifting geopolitics, the Chief of Army Staff referred to India as the "bright spot."

“Our outlook emphasises respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of all nations, equality of all, peaceful resolution of disputes, avoidance of the use of force and adherence to international rules, laws and regulations,” Gen Pande said.

India's dedication to constructively involving all stakeholders, according to the Indian Chief of Army Staff, has been "unwavering and enduring" over time. He further stated that India is eager to expand the breadth and depth of cooperative training and exercises, as well as sub-regional viewpoints, interoperability, and best practise exchange with friendly international partner countries.
“To give a fillip to our defence cooperation outreach, we are establishing defence wings in new locations around the world,” said, Gen Pande.
Gen Pande further discussed India's growing prominence and said that it had "one that is distinct, rooted in Indian ethos and effective in articulating the concerns of the Global South" as a respectable voice on the international scene.
