During a visit to Dhaka on Monday, the outgoing Maldives High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Shiruzimath Sameer, discussed with Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina the significance of collaboration between Bangladesh, Nepal, and the Maldives in the realm of tourism. Prime Minister Hasina emphasised the potential for mutual benefits and prosperity that can be attained through such cooperation.The Bangladeshi PM claimed that many of her countrymen are employed in the Maldives. “They are contributing to both of the country's economies," Hasina noted.The press secretary to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Ihsanul Karim, stated at a news conference that the "discussion on tourism was held during the meeting”.

During a visit to Dhaka on Monday, the outgoing Maldives High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Shiruzimath Sameer, discussed with Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina the significance of collaboration between Bangladesh, Nepal, and the Maldives in the realm of tourism.
Prime Minister Hasina emphasised the potential for mutual benefits and prosperity that can be attained through such cooperation.
“Bangladesh, Nepal and Maldives can have cooperation on tourism for mutual benefits," Hasina said.
The
Bangladeshi PM claimed that many of her countrymen are employed in the Maldives.

The press secretary to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Ihsanul Karim, stated at a news conference that the

“Bangladesh has enormous tourism potential, especially in Cox's Bazar, which is home to the longest sandy sea beach in the world,” the Maldives High Commissioner to Bangladesh said.
