Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu paid tribute to all those killed in the carnage that rocked the country's commercial capital, Mumbai, on Sunday.Modi paid tribute to the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks on their 15th anniversary during his episode of "Mann ki Baat".After paying tribute to all those who died in the attacks, Modi said the nation today remembers the brave men "who were martyred".Modi went on to say, "Mumbai and the entire country were shaken by the terrorist attacks (on 26/11). However, India used its ability to recover from the incident and is now using the same courage to crush terrorism".The President said the country honours the memory of the brave souls by standing with the families and loved ones of the victims.Similarly, India's Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar commemorated the victims of the terrorist attacks by highlighting the 'horrendous acts' of the incident on X. He stated that India would continue its 'quest' to find and prosecute those responsible for planning and carrying out the attacks.

15:17 26.11.2023 (Updated: 15:51 26.11.2023) On 26 November 2008, Mumbai was struck by terrorist attacks. India stands with the families and loved ones of the victims in remembering the brave souls on the 15th anniversary of the 26/11 terror attacks.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu paid tribute to all those killed in the carnage that rocked the country's commercial capital, Mumbai, on Sunday.
Modi paid tribute to the victims of the
26/11 Mumbai terror attacks on their 15th anniversary during his episode of "Mann ki Baat".
Describing the incident as "the most dastardly terror attack", the PM said: "We must never forget that day, 26 November. The nation had just been the target of the most heinous act of terrorism".
After paying tribute to all those who died in the attacks, Modi said the nation today remembers the brave men "who were martyred".
Modi went on to say, "Mumbai and the entire country were shaken by the terrorist attacks (on 26/11). However, India used its ability to recover from the incident and is now using the same courage to crush terrorism".
The President said the country honours the memory of the brave souls by standing with the families and loved ones of the victims.
“A grateful nation remembers with pain all the victims of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. We stand with their families and loved ones in honouring the memory of the brave souls. I pay tribute to the gallant security personnel who laid down their lives for the motherland. As we remember their supreme sacrifice, let us renew our pledge to fight terrorism in all its forms everywhere," Droupadi said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
Similarly, India's Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar commemorated the victims of the terrorist attacks by highlighting the 'horrendous acts' of the incident on X. He stated that India would continue its 'quest' to find and prosecute those responsible for planning and carrying out the attacks.
"Today marks 15 years since the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai. Our quest to bring to justice those responsible for the planning and execution of these horrific acts continues," Jaishankar said.
