During the meeting, President Putin emphasized that work with Iran is underway in all areas, including energy.
The two leaders' conversation started in the presence of the

"What is happening in Gaza is a genocide, it's a crime against humanity, these crimes are supported by the USA and Western countries, which is regrettable," the Iranian President said on the matter.

Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi's visit to Moscow for bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin is both regionally and internationally significant, political scientist Ruhollah Modabber said.
“Russia, as the main ambassador of the new world order, can become an even greater friend for Tehran, while for Iran, as a country opposing American hegemony, an alliance with friendly countries can lead to economic, scientific and technological prosperity," Modabber told Sputnik.
