India's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the interim budget on Thursday to address the country's financial needs until a new government is formed after the Lok Sabha polls in April this year.
As it happens every year during the Budget 2024 Day, the Indian people are eagerly anticipating the government's measures and allocation of funds to reduce the increasing expenses of various goods and services, as well as taxation.
With no change in tax relief for salaried individuals, and a strong emphasis on boosting India's tourism, railways, green energy, infrastructure, and others, the Budget 2024 is garnering mixed reactions.
Netizens are having a field day as they share their reaction with funny memes on social media.
