The Indian ambassador to Cambodia has affirmed her country's commitment to enhancing law enforcement relations and collaboration with the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia.
Dr. Devyani Khobragade said the pledge involves the continuous provision of training and assistance to officers of the Cambodian National Police, media reports.
The Ambassador made her comments during a courtesy call with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister, Sar Sokha, who serves as the Minister of Interior, and her colleagues on a Friday, where they engaged in discussions related to their
collaborative work.The Deputy Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the strong cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the Government of India.
He specifically
appreciated the consistent attention from the Indian side to training cooperation, including the provision of short-term and long-term scholarships for Cambodian police officers to acquire diverse skills through study programs in India.
