Indian Minister of External Affairs Dr S. Jaishankar has said during a press conference that the country is actively searching for more locations to set up Russian nuclear reactors as part of its efforts to expand its nuclear energy capacity.
"We are discussing the progress made at Kudankulam (nuclear power plant built in collaboration with Russia). In fact, we are looking for additional sites for Russian reactors", he said, answering questions about the development of the Indian nuclear energy sector.
The external affairs minister was in Russia last December when the two sides signed some "very important" agreements related to the construction of future power-generating units at the
Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant.Since 1998, Russia has built four
