Russian arms producer Kalashnikov is widely known for manufacturing a wide array of weapons systems, including rifles and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs).
Kalashnikov has begun mass production of Granat-4, a UAV primarily built to target tanks through artillery, the company said on Telegram.
"The Kalashnikov Concern has launched into mass production a modernized complex with the Granat-4 unmanned aerial vehicle, which is actively used by our divisions," the post shared on the popular social media platform read.
The Russian Defense Forces are using the Granat-4 UAV in the Special Military Operation in Ukraine, where it has been in operation against Western-supplied tanks like the Abrams.
As per the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD), the UAV is being used to conduct precision strikes on the positions of Ukraine's Armed Forces.
Speaking of Kalashnikov, the company launched a small reconnaissance drone named "Karakurt" in April.
Among its best features is its ability to maneuver in limited spaces and provide real-time visual aerial reconnaissance.
