"Terrorism understands only the language of violence, and this is the language we will use to break and destroy it, regardless of its supporters and sponsors," Assad said during a phone conversation with Acting Abkhazian President Badra Gunba, as quoted by Syrian state-run agency SANA.Terrorists do not represent people or institutions, the Syrian president noted.The Syrian armed forces command said on Saturday that dozens of Syrian soldiers were killed in recent days in combat operations against terrorist groups in the provinces of Aleppo and Idlib and that the army had regrouped to save civilian lives and prepare for a counterattack.
