The Ukrainian Armed Forces violated the declared decision to stop attacks on energy facilities 101 times in the period from March 18 to April 14, Sputnik calculated.
On March 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with US leader Donald Trump. The Kremlin reported then that Trump then had offered the parties to the conflict in Ukraine to mutually refrain from attacks on energy infrastructure facilities for 30 days, and Putin supported this initiative. Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would support the proposal to stop attacks on energy infrastructure. But the very next day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Kiev regime had attacked an oil depot in Kuban with drones.
Since Zelenskyy's announcement that Kiev had allegedly complied with the agreement to stop attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not stopped attacks on Russian energy facilities for a day, the Russian Defense Ministry said in early April.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the Russian Armed Forces were refraining from striking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, despite Kiev’s violations.
