Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi will be travelling to Sri Lanka on a four-day visit starting Monday, said an Indian Defence Ministry readout.During his visit, India's Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) is scheduled to hold talks with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya as well as hold bilateral discussions with the three Sri Lankan service chiefs and senior government officials on a range of defence cooperation matters.Tripathi will also be participating in the 12th edition of 'Galle Dialogue 2025', an international maritime conference in Colombo on the theme "Maritime Outlook of the Indian Ocean under Changing Dynamics", the Indian readout said.It noted that Indian and Sri Lankan Navies hold regular engagements through the annual defence dialogue, staff-level talks as well as joint naval drills such as Sri Lanka India Naval Exercise (SLINEX), passage exercises, and other training and hydrographic exchanges.

During his visit, India's Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) is scheduled to hold talks with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya as well as hold
bilateral discussions with the three Sri Lankan service chiefs and senior government officials on a range of defence cooperation matters.
The Indian readout said that focus of these
engagements will be on boosting maritime security, capability enhancement, training and identifying avenues to further strengthen cooperation.
Tripathi will also be participating in the 12th edition of 'Galle Dialogue 2025', an international maritime conference in Colombo on the theme "Maritime Outlook of the Indian Ocean under Changing Dynamics", the Indian readout said.
It noted that Indian and Sri Lankan Navies hold regular engagements through the annual defence dialogue, staff-level talks as well as joint naval drills such as Sri Lanka India Naval Exercise (SLINEX), passage exercises, and other training and hydrographic exchanges.
