RSP spokesperson and poll candidate Manish Jha tells Sputnik India the party is focused on reforms, institutional strengthening, and neutral regional engagement.
The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is confident of securing a comfortable parliamentary majority in the upcoming elections. Party leaders say their main focus is delivering effective governance rather than reacting to political rival statements.
Speaking to Sputnik India, the RSP highlighted good governance as its core priority. “We have a team of people who know how to run a country. Our aim is to improve public sector delivery and reduce politicization in constitutional institutions,” said Manish Jha.
On potential alliances, the party stated that it is currently focused solely on winning a majority and is not planning coalition arrangements at this stage.
RSP also emphasized a balanced approach to foreign policy, prioritizing both geopolitical and economic stability. Leaders with global experience, including deputy chairman Swarnim Wagle, will guide Nepal’s engagement with neighboring countries to avoid leaning toward any single side.
If successful in forming a government, possibly under Balen Shah, the party plans to implement its roadmap of reforms aimed at strengthening state institutions and improving overall governance for the country.
