Putin Extends Condolences to India Following Deadly Cyclone: Kremlin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his deep condolences to Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connection with casualties and destruction caused by the consequences of the cyclone in the country, the Kremlin said on Thursday.
"Please accept my deep condolences in connection with the numerous human casualties and large-scale destruction caused by the effects of the cyclone in the state of Uttar Pradesh," the Kremlin said in a statement.
According to media reports, 100 people died on Wednesday in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh due to heavy rains and storms; additionally, numerous houses across the state were damaged.
