Iran has the right to make any decisions regarding the Strait of Hormuz, and no one can question this right, Ebrahim Azizi, head of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, told Sputnik.
"The Strait of Hormuz has special geopolitical significance for us. It is part of our territorial waters and our geography, so Iran has the right to make any decisions it deems necessary regarding it, and no one can question this right," Azizi said.

Iran Not Discussing Removal of Enriched Uranium With US

The issue of removing enriched uranium from Iran is not currently being discussed in negotiations with the United States, said Azizi.
"The issue of removing enriched uranium is not being discussed at all at the current stage of consultations and delegation exchanges between Iran and Pakistan, as well as at any stage of contacts with the Americans," Azizi noted.
