European officials in informal contacts explicitly state that Ukraine's accession to the EU is completely excluded now and in the medium term, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) said on Friday.
"European officials and politicians of European countries in informal contacts explicitly state that the accession of Ukraine in the European Union at the current stage and at least in the medium term is completely excluded," the SVR said in a statement.
