This is the achievement of the sector's specialists, who make a significant contribution to ensuring food security and technological sovereignty," Mishustin said in a congratulatory message to workers in Russia's fishery sector on their professional holiday published by the government."Your work deserves respect and sincere gratitude," he added.The sector is undergoing digital transformation and is introducing high technologies, Mishustin also said, adding that this allows to implement major projects, conduct scientific research, build modern vessels, processing plants, aquaculture facilities, and open logistics centers.

Russia ranks among the world leaders in the harvesting and processing of aquatic biological resources, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Sunday.
"Russia is among the global leaders in the extraction and processing of aquatic bioresources and is a leading maritime power. This is the achievement of the sector's specialists, who make a significant contribution to ensuring food security and technological sovereignty," Mishustin said in a congratulatory message to workers in Russia's fishery sector on their professional holiday published by the government.
Industry professionals are doing everything possible to ensure that domestic seafood and fish are present on Russian tables and remain in demand on foreign markets, the prime minister said.
