Companies based in the Russian capital sold 2.4-times more goods to India, in the first quarter of 2026, said Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial PolicyAt the end of 2025, industrial exports to India were 47 per cent higher than a year earlier, Garbuzov added.Moscow-based firms now export to more than 100 countries worldwide. Goods include including food, drink, household chemicals and cosmetics. High-tech products like radio electronics, power engineering, pharmaceuticals and medical technology also account for a major share of exports.Together, they generate half of all export revenue earned by Moscow manufacturers.Most-exported goods to India last year included specialised vehicles, data storage devices and pressure measurement and monitoring equipment.This year, shipments were mainly components for liquid-crystal display devices and X-ray equipment.The Mosprom Centre supports companies entering international markets in several key areas, including market analysis, buyer programmes, training events and business networking.Companies attending international trade exhibitions and business missions have their costs covered by the city government.

Companies based in the Russian capital sold 2.4-times more goods to India, in the first quarter of 2026, said Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy
"Commonwealth of Independent States and Asian countries have traditionally been among the most popular markets for products made by Moscow manufacturers. In the first quarter of 2026, Moscow companies continued to increase exports: shipments to India rose almost 2.5-fold, while exports to Belarus increased by a third, or 33 per cent, compared with the same period last year. These countries, together with Kazakhstan, account for almost half of all industrial shipments from the capital," Garbuzov said.
