Models of Rosatom's flagship VVER-1200 equipped nuclear power plant as well as SJ-100 aircraft will be on display at the first-ever Innoprom industrial fair scheduled to take place at Delhi's Bharat Mandapam on 9-11 September, according to a press release from the organisers.India and Russia are in discussions for developing VVER-1200 reactors for the Units 7 and 8 of the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP). Last October, India's Hindustan Aeronautics Limited signed an MoU with a Russia's public Joint Stock Company United Aircraft Corporation for the production of SJ-100 civil commuter aircraft in India.Besides nuclear energy and aviation, Russian technologies in the sphere of space, artificial intelligence (AI), urban infrastructure, finance and other fields will be showcased at the industrial fair. Russian companies which will be present include Rostec, Rosatom, RUSAL, Transmashholding, Sber, United Aircraft Corporation, United Engine Corporation, PhosAgro, Russian Export Center, Center for Research in Advanced Technologies, Natsproektstroy, Arnest Unirus, A7, Alfa-Bank. Exporters from Moscow, Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Chelyabinsk Region will also have stalls at the event. From the Indian side, National Mineral Development Corporation (SMDC), Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), ITC, Nicco Cables, Global Gases Group, Monte Carlo and Central Electronics Limited will be showcasing their solutions to the Russian counterparts.Innoprom, which is aimed at boosting India-Russia industrial cooperation across spheres, is being jointly organised by India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Russia's Ministry of Industry and Trade. The plenary session of the event, titled 'Enhancing Russian–Indian Trade and Industrial Partnership: Towards Greater Self-Reliance', will be addressed by Indian Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and Russian Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov.The event is taking place right ahead of the BRICS Summit, which will also be hosted at the Bharat Mandapam convention centre on 12 and 13 September.

India and Russia are in discussions for developing
VVER-1200 reactors for the Units 7 and 8 of the
Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP). Last October, India's Hindustan Aeronautics Limited signed an MoU with a Russia's public Joint Stock Company United Aircraft Corporation for the
