India" international industrial exhibition, which opened in New Delhi on Wednesday in the run-up to the 18th BRICS summit. More than 120 companies from Russia and India are showcasing their products at the three-day event.

Russia, India Discuss Prospects for Joint Rare Earths Projects: Industry Minister
Russian Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov said on Thursday that he had met with Indian Coal and Mines Minister Gangapuram Kishan Reddy to discuss outlooks for cooperation in the extraction and processing of rare earth metals.
"Our talks focused on joint projects related to rare earth metals. This was the main topic," he told reporters on the sidelines of an industrial show in New Delhi.
Alikhanov said that Indian companies were open to different forms of cooperation with Russia. Tentative agreements to this effect may be signed as early as this November, on the margins of the India Mining Week 2026 forum.
The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade said that Russia had a vast expertise in producing heavy machinery needed to extract mineral wealth and technology for its processing.
"Both Russia and India are working actively to improve extraction and processing technology. Russian companies are producing high-purity metals, alloys and magnets, which are essential for the energy industry, electric transport and additive manufacturing technologies," the statement read.
