Palestinian military movement Hamas took control of more Israeli territory than the Ukrainian Armed Forces did in their so-called counteroffensive in four months, an analysis by Sputnik India has shown.
As per open source data available on the internet, Hamas in a lightning advance through the ground, air, and sea took control of Israel's southern towns of Be'eri, Ofakim, Netivot, and Sderot, catching Israel's armed forces completely unawares.
An international affairs expert told Sputnik India that Israel was surprised by the scale of Hamas' assault before blaming the domestic intelligence agency for failing to foresee it's actions.
Unlike Hamas, the Ukrainian forces have failed to make much headway in their so-called counteroffensive against Russian forces in the regions of Kherson, Zaporozhye, and Donetsk People's Republic.

Even Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky admitted that Ukraine's so-called counteroffensive against Russia was facing difficulty and not moving as plan due to Moscow's nearly unbreachable defenses.
"We see in which directions we are moving forward, but it is very difficult for us, thousands of mines," the Ukrainian leader said in August.
