Arshad Khan, once again, seems to be trending and making headlines as his investors open a new café in East London’s Ilford area, which was named “Café Chaiwala Arshad Khan.” Khan used to sell tea on the streets of Islamabad and struggled to earn a living. However, his photos went viral on social media in October 2016, turning him into an overnight global media sensation as well as a fashion and brand icon.Meanwhile, the exclusive investors of Khan’s brand in London, Bahadar, Nadir, and Akbar Durrani (or the Durrani brothers) revealed their plan to open several “Café Chaiwala Arshad Khan” franchises across the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.The London café is located in a neighbourhood densely populated by South Asian natives, mostly Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis. In an interview with Pakistani media, Akbar Durrani highlighted the café's focus on “traditional and cultural South Asian elements, from truck art and a hand-decorated Vespa, [in addition to] desi paintings on the wall and an interior that is modern and Dhabba (small restaurant) at the same time.”Although Arshad Khan has not yet visited the establishment, in the interview, he assured everyone that he would soon visit the place. Khan also owns a café in Islamabad and other locations in Lahore and Murree under his brand name, Café Chaiwala.

Pakistani Arshad Khan's rags-to-riches story has inspired people all around the globe. In 2016, he skyrocketed to fame for his astonishingly beautiful blue eyes. The world learned about him after a photographer named Jiah Ali captured his image while Khan was selling chai (Tea) in Islamabad.
