On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation via video conferencing after laying the foundation stone for the redevelopment of 508 railway stations, worth 244.7 bln INR ($2.95 bln). across the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the opposition of engaging in "negative politics" and asserted that the entire nation now hopes that corruption, dynasty, and appeasement should "quit India".
Speaking at a ceremony dedicated to the the redevelopment of 508 railway stations, PM Modi alleged that a section of the opposition is "working on the principle that neither will they work nor let others work."
He strongly criticized the opposition party for not being able to build even a war memorial during the 70 years they ruled India. But when the Modi government came into power and initiated the Central Vista Redevelopment Project, which transformed India's parliament into a new modern building, instead of extending support, a section of the opposition opposed it.
PM Modi accused the opposition of engaging in negative politics and emphasized that his government is practicing positive politics by prioritizing development and moving forward on that path.
