The G-20 Leaders' Summit in New Delhi, set to be held from September 9 to 10, will be the culmination of India's G-20 presidency. As the host of the G-20 meet-up, India has withstood Western pressure on the issue of the Ukraine conflict and has refused to join the sanctions war against Russia.

On Saturday, Indian President Droupadi Murmu will host a dinner for G20 dignitaries at the hall in the hallandapam, the venue of the G20 summit.
President Draupadi Murmu is preparing to host an extravagant dinner in the splendid national capital.

Esteemed foreign leaders, heads of delegations, chief ministers from every state and union territory, notable cabinet and state ministers, as well as distinguished secretaries will grace the grand event. A gathering of 170 guests will come together for an evening of sheer elegance and camaraderie.

Here’s What We Know So Far About The Dinner:

Concert of Rare Instrument: The ceremonial dinner will celebrate India’s musical heritage, a combination of classical and contemporary music. The performance 'Bharat Vadya Darshanam' (Musical Journey of India) by 78 artists from across the country performed on some of the rarest of rare Indian instruments like ‘Surbahar’, ‘Jaltarang’, and ‘Rudra Veena’
The 90-minute performance is organised by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, an autonomous body under Ministry of Culture.
Silverware Dishes: According to the Press Trust of India (PTI), the food will be served in silverware utensils. The tableware will have a base of steel, brass, or a mix of both and will come with exquisite silver plating.
Rajeev Pabuwal of Iris Jaipur, the Jaipur-based company that crafted the tableware, proudly expressed that the designs impeccably capture the essence of India's opulent heritage, majestic culture, and worldwide eminence.
What’s In The Menu?: The food will be a four-course meal and pure vegetarian. It will also have Indian cuisine, including — Kaju Matar Makhana, Subz Korma, Paneer Lababdar, Jowar Dal Tadka, Pyaaz Jeera Ka Pulao, Cucumber Raita, Butter Nan, Kulcha, Roasted Almonds, Vegetable Broth, Kuttu Malpua and Pista Rasmalai among others.
Monsoon Delicacies: The food will be custom-tailored, keeping in mind vegetables and grains consumed in India during Monsoon.
Millet-based Menu: The United Nations has announced 2023 as the International Year of Millets (IYOM), acting on the Indian government's proposal, supported by 72 countries.
