India and Australia will meet in Sunday's Cricket World Cup final in Ahmedabad. Ahead of the showpiece event, the Indian Air Force (IAF) will mesmerize the crowd with a mesmerizing aerial show.
The IAF's Surya Kiran team, famous for conducting dazzling aerobatic maneuvers, will display its skills in a 10-minute performance to be carried out minutes before the ICC World Cup final between India and Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19.
The Surya Kiran team will employ nine Hawk aircraft to present the air show before the India vs. Australia contest at the world's largest cricket stadium.

The name of the Surya Kiran Team is derived from the Sanskrit phrase "Surya Kiran" which means "rays of the Sun."
The team performs with the help of IAF's advanced trainer aircraft, the Hawk MK 132.
The team features 13 pilots, with nine taking part in performances during an aerial show.
The pilots that are part of the Surya Kiran Team are selected after a thorough selection process conducted twice every 12 months.
Once selected, the pilots remain with the team for at least three years before going back to combat duty with the IAF.
The Surya Kiran team's performances are eagerly awaited during India's Republic Day celebrations as well as the Air Force Day commemorated in October annually.
The team has not only earned plaudits in national air shows but has earned international repute as well, having successfully demonstrated its maneuvers and formations of different shapes and sizes in the sky in India's neighborhood, including China.
