Tanmaya Lal, Secretary (West), visited Moscow on 19-20 December 2024 to co-chair the 13th meeting of the Joint Working Group on Counter Terrorism cooperation
The Russia-India Joint Working Group on counterterrorism has discussed terrorist threats at various levels, focusing on the situations in Afghanistan and the Middle East, the Ministry of External Affairs readout said on Saturday.
"In the 13th JWG on CT, both sides shared their experiences in countering terrorism, including cross-border terrorism, extremism and agreed to enhance cooperation to address problems of radicalization as well as terror financing," the statement read.
