The Pakistan Navy conducted a successful anti-narcotics operation in the North Arabian Sea, seizing an illicit consignment of drugs worth $1 million, the media wing of the country's maritime force said in a statement on Thursday.The Pakistan Navy's warship Moawin, assisted by naval air assets, raided a ship after detecting suspicious activity on a dhow and subsequently took hold of the narcotics, which were concealed inside secret compartments of the vessel.Meanwhile, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the Pakistan Navy for its successful anti-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea, as per Pakistan Radio.Furthermore, Sharif credited the Pakistan Navy for preventing drug smuggling in the South Asian Islamic nation's ocean waters, adding that the country was proud of its personnel.

"The successful execution of this anti-narcotics operation demonstrates the Pakistan Navy’s vigilance, professionalism, and commitment to deterring and disrupting illegal activities, ensuring order at sea," the Pakistan Navy said in a media release.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the Pakistan Navy for its successful anti-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea, as per Pakistan Radio.
