India's Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has indicated that the government would respond to US President Donald Trump's statement of brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan during the ongoing Monsoon Session. India has repeatedly denied Trump's claims.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that there was a growing international interest in 'Made in India' defense systems in the wake of Operation Sindoor. The PM was addressing the press at the Parliament House in New Delhi at the start of the Monsoon Session, which is scheduled to run till 21 August.
"Under Operation Sindoor, the houses of the masters of terrorists were razed to the ground within 22 minutes. The world has been very attracted to this new form of Made in India military power. These days... the world's attraction towards the Made in India weapons has been increasing," the Prime Minister stated.
He remarked that the Monsoon Session was a "celebration of victory".
"The whole world has seen the strength of India's military power. The target set by the Indian Army in Operation Sindoor was achieved 100%. The houses of the masters of terrorists were razed to the ground within 22 minutes," the Indian leader said.
The PM also hailed the contribution of Indian Member of Parliaments (MPs), commending them for keeping partisan interests aside and conveying India's stance about "zero tolerance for terrorism" to other governments.

"The massacre in Pahalgam have shaken the entire world... Representatives of most of our parties went to many countries of the world and ran a very successful campaign to expose Pakistan before the world. I want to appreciate all those MPs, I want to appreciate all the parties for this important work done in the national interest and this has created a positive atmosphere in the country," the PM said.

The Monsoon Session is the first parliamentary sitting after 7-10 May India-Pakistan conflict in the wake of the Pahalgam terrorist attack on 22 April.
The Indian opposition, led by Congress Party, has demanded a statement from Prime Minister Modi on US President Donald Trump's repeated claim (made over a two dozen times since 10 May) about brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan using trade as an incentive.
At weekend, Trump also claimed that that "five jets were shot" down during the India-Pakistan hostilities, without specifying which side those fighter planes belonged to.
